Title
of Work:Algorithmic Composition A
|
Description:The Works ‘Algorithmic composition A’ and Algorithmic composition B’ were written by manipulation of the letters Y,S,S,C, and A. These are the initials of friends. They were manipulated algorithmically and the results for rhythmic and pitch were altered until the two works emerged. They were then fed into the computer and the machine then produced the synthesised sound you hear. This is a completely different way of making music.
